Why Independence from the USA?
The current state of the world is of extreme concern. Wars are raging and increasing across the world, including the conflicts in Gaza, Iran, Ukraine, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia and the Democratic Republic of Congo and sadly, many, many more.
We have never been closer to a potential nuclear war than we are today. The US’s massive illegal strike against Iran last week was a clear violation of international law as were the Israeli government’s attacks on Iran and their continuing attacks on Gaza.
Experts state there is no evidence that Iran is developing nuclear weapons and IPAN has condemned the illegal USA bombing against sovereign nation Iran and is deeply disturbed that the Australian government publicly supported the strikes by the US on Iran.
Australia can in no way stay silent about this inhumanity and flagrant disregard for international law – we must disengage from the US as quickly as possible. It’s time for Australia to become an independent country.
