Emergency: Sumud Flotilla Under Repeated Attack — Act Now
Despite 10 terrorist attacks, the Sumud humanitarian flotilla has set sail from Sicily carrying food and medicine to the starving people of Gaza. On board are civilians — including Australians — risking their lives to deliver lifesaving aid.
The attacks are increasing in frequency. It is only a matter of time before a humanitarian volunteer is killed if we do not act now.
What’s Happening
Civilian aid ships are being targeted — a direct attack on unarmed humanitarians.
Food and medical supplies are being deliberately blocked from reaching people in Gaza facing mass starvation.
These are clear war crimes under international law.
Our Demands — Australia must act now:
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Foreign Minister Penny Wong must immediately condemn these terrorist attacks.
The Israeli Embassy must explain whether their forces were involved and why unarmed civilians have been attacked.
The Australian Government must deploy Navy and Air Force assets to protect Australian humanitarians and ensure the safe delivery of aid.
Guarantee safe passage for all future flotillas and humanitarian missions.
