Tomorrow we discover what the WA State Budget for 2025-26 delivers in response to our Pre-Budget Submission asks.

Shelter WA shared six key priorities in our Pre-Budget Submission, that included 39 individual asks!

The priorities are

1. Fix the shortage of social and affordable housing
2. Relieve cost of living pressures for vulnerable households and renters
3. End homelessness, starting with rough sleeping
4. Boost the capacity of the sector to respond to the crisis
5. Close the Housing Gap
6. Make new homes accessible
