A solidarity vigil is happening this Friday standing together with the mass youth-led and student protests in India which are broadening and have been met with severe repression by the state.
The recent protests followed a historic hunger strike that went on for more than 24-days against the recurring examination paper leaks, the betrayal of students futures and demanding the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
