Spruiked as “the region’s premier national and regional security event for the land defence sector” Land Forces 2026 will ’invade’ Boorloo (Perth) at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre on 6-8 October.
The Military Industrial Complex (MIC) – joined at the hip with government – will be on full display, with the addition of Academia (MIAC).
💰The cost to the taxpayer for security alone at Land Forces is $10+ million.
Join us to protest:
🚨weapons and genocide and war’s mass destruction of the planet and humanity;
🚨 defence expenditure at the expense of mitigating climate change and properly funding housing, health and education;
🚨 the State Government’s aim to make defence the 2nd largest industry in WA, including a proposed ‘missile manufacturing hub’ (possibly in Collie), without consulting the community;
🚨 AUKUS and the US Alliance; and
🚨 Land Forces exhibitors aiding and abetting the genocide in Gaza.
And to debunk the myths that:
🚨 preparing for war brings peace; and
🚨 nuclear weapons are needed for deterrence.
